Howto build an online business http://businesshowto.org Follow the journey to building an online business Wed, 09 May 2012 12:50:51 +0000 en hourly 1 http://wordpress.org/?v=3.3.2 What is an entreprenuer? http://businesshowto.org/what-is-an-entreprenuer/ http://businesshowto.org/what-is-an-entreprenuer/#comments Wed, 09 May 2012 12:50:51 +0000 mpoweru http://businesshowto.org/?p=78 What is an entrepreneur?  Sure, you might think its a “business owner”.  Negative.  Poor mans thinking.  Go get a 9-5 you might save yourself some grief and time.  An entrepreneur does not leave an employer to become an employee for himself only to crack his/her whip on their own back.  If you believe that than you are stuck in the rat race.  The only difference is now you work 18 hours a day instead of 8 or 10.  Why?  Get a grip, release what you thought you knew.  I did this very thing when I was a young “entrepreneur” or so I thought I was.  I just became a slave to myself not to an employer.  At least an employer offers benefits, consistent paycheck, and has to follow state and federal laws to ensure your livelihood.  On the contrary, you work for yourself and its slave labor my friend if you continue to act like an employee.

Read stories and books of the most successful people in this world.  The cold and dirty version.  They are leaders not followers.  They are visionaries not worker bees.  They create the vision, someone else executes.  PERIOD!  You need to find the smart minds to help create your vision.  You need to lead them and nurture their motivation and help outline their path.  Thats what they need from you.  You give them a picture of their future and they will follow it.  Of course, you need to ensure their livelihood along the way.  Its a simple equation.  Question is, can you unlearn societies teachings which lead you to become the 98% of followers who work for others?
